The traditional arts community are reminded that there have been some changes to the Deis scheme, most notably in regards to the funding of recording projects and CD production.

Recording Projects

Proposals for recording projects (including CD production) will be considered separately, once per year.  Priority will be given to recording projects that:

• are of a significant archival nature or that are pertaining to the music of a specific region or in a particular style;
• assist in making the music/song of an exceptional performer/composer/region publicly available;
• have a particularly innovative theme or original artistic format;
• form part of an individual’s career development.
