Chief Executive Officer: Dance Ireland

Since it was established in 1989 as Ireland’s national dance development organisation, Dance Ireland has played a significant role in ensuring Ireland has a vibrant, creative and dynamic dance community. In 2018, Dance Ireland developed a new 5-year strategy (2018 – 2023: Moving Forward Together) providing an ambitious roadmap for what it wants to achieve in the years to come.

The Board of Dance Ireland is now seeking to appoint a new Chief Executive Officer with the proven capacity to strategically develop an organisation in an ambitious, sustainable and thoughtful way.  It is a role that requires an advocate with a strong commitment to the significance of learning, participation and engagement in and through the arts.

Based in its purpose-built facility, DanceHouse, in the centre of Dublin, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who has the energy and ability to develop, communicate and realise the potential of the new strategy.  The ideal candidate will have the acumen to sustain and develop the range of partnerships and resources needed to meet the organisations ambitions for the development of dance in Ireland.

For full candidate information and details of the application process, please contact John Deely at Pinpoint (Recruit@pinpoint.ie,  (01) 642 5721)

Closing date for applications: Friday 18 October 2019 at 12 noon.
