A Guide for Working in Intercultural Contexts

The Arts Council welcomes the recent publication A Guide for Working in Intercultural Contexts by our local authority partners in Mayo, South Dublin and Donegal and funded under the Invitation to Collaboration Scheme.

Anne McCarthy, Head of Community and Integrated Development in Mayo County Council writes about the collaboration in a new blog this month titled Less expert, more human. She talks about the process of listening and discovery that led to developing the guide.

This is a new resource for arts services and cultural providers who are interested in broadening their public engagement and reach to diverse communities and artists. It is a really useful and practical resource for those wishing to embark on developing work with different communities in their localities. You can download the guide here and view the announcement here https://vimeo.com/424070720 (3mins)
