Mobility First! - ASEF Cultural Mobility Initiative 2020

The Asia-Europe Foundation (ASEF) invites eligible arts practitioners from Asia and Europe to apply through an open call for travel taking place between 20th January and 30th November 2020.  The grant is intended to cover international travel and visa costs only.  Travel can take place to any of the ASEM partner countries (Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Kazakhstan, Korea, Lao PDR, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Pakistan, Philippines, Russian Federation, Singapore, Thailand and Viet Nam.

International travel support is prioritised for travel to participate in activities that are integral to professional development; that would lead to a multiplier effect to others and benefit society.  Eligible activities are:  workshops/trainings; conferences; festivals, biennales, international exhibitions; residences; partnership building meetings; practice-led research.

There is a rolling deadline and applications are assessed as they are received.  Further details can be found here.
