Project 52/Tionscnamh 52 pop-up performances, Dingle Peninsula
Project 52/Tionscnamh is a collaborative, multi-disciplinary arts project connecting 52 artists living on the Dingle Peninsula. Over 52 weeks of 2017, each artist had a week to create a new piece of work. This piece was then passed on to the next artist and was used as the inspiration for the next artist’s new piece. Artists involved in the project include writers, painters, dancers, musicians, photographers, filmmakers, milliner, among others. The work is grounded in the landscape and culture of the Dingle Peninsula with pieces in both Irish and English. This project captures the rich and diverse art being created here and is a barometer for the collective community.
Pop-up Performances every day @ 1p.m. Friday 3rd-Monday 7th May
