2. Arts Audiences invites applications for the Build your Audience Scheme 2011

Arts Audiences are delighted to invite applications for the new Build your Audience Scheme, which will concentrate on helping arts organisations with their cultural tourism efforts. This project is part of Arts Audiences ongoing work with partner Fáilte Ireland which included a cultural tourism briefing day in November 2010.

If you are keen to attract domestic and international visitors, but are not sure how to set realistic goals for your organisation this scheme is for you.

In brief:

In this pilot scheme, Arts Audiences will provide free audience consultancy to three organisations. Participating organisations will assist in documenting the process and results will be published to make learning outcomes available to the wider arts community.

The scheme will help participating organisations to identify, communicate with, and build domestic and international audiences.  Furthermore, it will provide information on how best to work with tourism bodies and local amenities and advise on the use of traditional marketing techniques and new media.

The deadline for applications is 11 February 2011 at 5pm.
