Thursday 5 May is the deadline for applications to the Touring and Dissemination of Work Scheme for tours taking place in the period January to June 2017.

Applications will be available through online services from 5 April 2016.

As with previous rounds of the scheme we have agreed with our colleagues in the Arts Council of Northern Ireland to make it easier to organise tours across the border. This means that applications from the North and the South can include dates in either jurisdiction and if the application is successful, we will support all legs of the tour.

This is an incentive to companies and venues to work together in both jurisdictions to enable excellent work to be seen on the whole island. Since its introduction in 2010 the Touring schemes have been based on the principle of collaboration between those who produce and those who present work to audiences. So we hope that the two Arts Councils working together on this will help foster stronger ties between artists in the two jurisdictions.
