Public Art Commissioner - Seamus Heaney: A Work of Public Art

The Arts Council of Ireland and the Arts Council of Northern Ireland are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified Public Art Commissioner to deliver a commission which represents the island-wide artistic and civic contribution made by Seamus Heaney in his lifetime. It is proposed to have a dual commission of public art pieces that would celebrate the life and work of Seamus Heaney (1939 -2013).

Tenderers will be expected to demonstrate a range and variety of experience in relation to public art commissioning including demonstrated experience of delivering services of a similar size and nature to a high standard. Tenderers must have delivered a minimum of two projects of a similar scale.

Tenders are invited for this contract by way of a public tender process advertised via the eTenders procurement website www.etenders.gov.ie/publicartcommissioner. All tenders should be submitted (via the etenders post-box facility) by 12 noon, 21 February 2018. Any questions regarding this contract should be directed to the Questions and Answers facility at www.etenders.gov.ie as set out in the tender notice and not to the Arts Council of Ireland or Arts Council Northern Ireland.
