The deadline for applications for tours beginning in the period January to June 2013 will be Thursday 3 May 2012. Application forms and guidelines will be available online from the end of March and the criteria for the scheme will be similar to previously advertised schemes.

Continuing the audience focused approach that characterises the Arts Council's Touring Policy, the scheme is designed to support genuine collaboration between those who produce work and wish to tour and the presenting venue or local promoter.

There will be a second deadline in October 2012 for tours in the latter half of 2013 and the same date will be used for application to the Advance Planning strand for tours talking place in 2014.
