Dublin City Council, in association with the Arts Council, has announced that filmmaker Joe Lee has been selected as Dublin City Council's Filmmaker in Residence. Joe was selected after an open call for expressions of interest. The emphasis of the residency is on supporting filmmakers to develop their practice.

Joe Lee is from Dublin.   Central to his work is an exploration of the city of Dublin, its multiple identities and the shifting narratives of place. The residency programme will allow Joe to explore ways of making his work accessible to the public and it is planned to make his work available for viewing at Dublin City Council, Archive Unit, Pearse Street Library.
