Deis Award next closing date 5:30 pm, Thursday 4 June 2015
The objective of the Deis Award is to provide support for traditional arts projects or traditional arts-led projects involving collaboration with other artforms. Deis supports one-off or short-term projects only and other funding will not be granted under the award.
Priority will be given to projects that demonstrate:
- Attention to artistic quality
- Significant benefit to the traditional arts community.
The award is open to individuals, groups, ensembles or organisations.

Applications will only be accepted through the Arts Council’s online services website. The applicant must be registered with the online services site prior to making an application. It is recommended that applicants allow five working days for registration prior to making an application.
Please note – Applications for projects centred on recording or the publication of work, such as tutorials, tune collections, critical writing, etc. will be not be eligible for the Deis Award, but are eligible for application to the Deis Recording and Publication Award.
