1. Recipient of Arts Award for Creativity in the Workplace

Arts Audiences, a partnership initiative of the Arts Council and Temple Bar Cultural Trust(www.artsaudiences.ie) was the recipient, with Google Ireland, of the Allianz Business to Arts Award for Creativity in the Workplace which was presented by President Mary McAleese at a ceremony in Dublin Castle on 12 September last.

Google Ireland and Arts Audiences run a new media marketing mentoring scheme for arts organisations where Google employees give their time to arts organisations, addressing specific projects and building expertise in how to make the best use of web tools and marketing.

In 2011, the organisations being mentored are; Galway Arts Festival, Riverbank Arts Centre, Garter Lane Arts Centre and the Chester Beatty Library.
