Art’s Council Collection

The Arts Council is delighted to announce that it has added 22 new works to its Collection which will be seen by audiences across the country in coming years. The artists whose work has now been added to the Collection are Rhona Byrne, Ruth Clinton and Niamh Moriarty, Avril Corroon, Vivienne Dick, Sandra Johnston, Richard Ashrowan, Alastair MacLennan, Hina Khan, Vicky Langan and Maximillan Le Cain, Maria McKinney, Yuri Pattison, Alan Phelan, Sven Sandberg.

RAISE goes online and helps Raise the Spirits of our great nation #RAISINGSpirits

In response to the Covid-19 crisis, the Arts Council’s RAISE programme, delivered by OKC Consulting has now gone online using conferencing and webinar tools and facilities as well as Tele/Video conferencing solutions. In addition, the RAISE programme is working with arts organisations to reach their supporters, clients, audiences and donors through creating innovative online communications and virtual working strategies.

The purpose of the Next Generation Artists’ Award is to support a group of promising artists across all disciplines at an early but pivotal stage in their career.

 

The deadline for this award is 5:30 p.m. Thursday 14 May 2020. The window for making an application opens on Tuesday, 14 April 2020.

Scoileanna Ildánacha / Creative Schools have extended the deadline for schools/centres to apply to Scoileanna Ildánacha / Creative Schools 2020.

Due to school closures the applications for Creative Schools 2020 will remain open until the new deadline of 17:30, Thursday 23 April 2020.
