Artists based in Ireland, with a proven track record of working creatively are eligible, and the residency is open to any medium (architecture, circus, crafts, dance, digital media, film, movement, music, spectacle, theatre, writing, visual art, as well as multi-disciplinary practice and design of all kinds).

All applications received within the deadline will receive an automated acknowledgement. Incomplete applications will not be assessed. It will not be possible to provide feedback on the selection process to unsuccessful applicants.

Selection process

Applications will be reviewed by a panel which will include representatives from the Society, the Culture Company, as well as independent representatives from the cultural sector and professional artists. The assessment will be made of the eligible applications received based on the criteria laid out in this notice. The panel reserves the right to invite shortlisted applicants to interview.

Decisions will be communicated by 15th July 2019 or as close to that as possible, subject to any interview process and scheduling thereof that may take place.
