Literature Bursary Award Information Clinic hosted by Munster Literature Centre

The deadline for the next round of the Arts Council’s Literature Bursary Award (for writers working in English) is Thursday 31 January 2019 at 5.30pm. In advance of this deadline, the Arts Council will hold a further information clinic, hosted by Munster Literature Centre, to offer advice and information on the application process.

The deadline for The Liam O’Flynn Award is Thursday 17 January, 2019 at 5.30pm. The window for making an application opens on Tuesday 11 December 2018.

The Liam O’Flynn Award is a joint initiative of the Arts Council/An Chomhairle Ealaíon and the National Concert Hall/An Ceoláras Náisiúnta as part of its partnership for the promotion, appreciation and enjoyment of traditional arts, which includes the Tradition Now festival of traditional music.

A round up of events in 2018

2018 was a great year for us here in the Creative Europe Desk Ireland Culture Office.

Each year our work takes us across the width and breath of the country and 2018 was no different. In addition to Dublin we participated and organised events in Galway, Kilkenny, Cork, Waterford and Belfast.  We were involved in over 14 events either organised by ourselves or with others.
