16 x 16 ARTISTS BURSARIES |
In acknowledgement of the part played by artists in the events of 1916, and in recognition of the role of the artist in contemporary Ireland, the Arts Council will award a special bursary to sixteen emerging artists. The successful applicants will receive €12,500 each and will be invited to participate in a collective week-long residency in 2016. An independent jury met on 9 September and made its selection. Details will be announced during October – watch this space!
NATIONAL CHORAL PROJECT
