This strand of funding is open to publishers and publishing houses to apply for co-financing for the translation, publication and promotion of literary fiction from and into eligible languages.  There are two strands of funding:  Category 1 is for two year projects to support a slate of 3-10 works and Category 2 is for a three year agreement for support for a slate of 3-10 works per year.

EU support for literary translation is aimed at enhancing knowledge of the literature and literary heritage of fellow Europeans. Applications from individual publishers and publishing houses for the translation of collections of fiction from one European language into another are eligible under this scheme.  The translation and promotion of books for which authors have won the EUPL (EU Prize for Literature) are particularly encouraged.  Read more here.
