Arts Council announces deadline for Open Call 2017

The application window for the next round of Open Call will open on 21 March. The deadline for this Scheme is 5.30pm on Thursday, 20 April, 2017. Applications will be accepted through the Arts Council’s Online Services Website.

Through this Open Call the Arts Council wishes to support work of ambition, collaboration and experimentation in a range of settings. Projects proposed in response to the Open Call may be in any artform, any arts practice area or be cross-disciplinary. The award is open to individuals and organisations who are resident in (the Republic of) Ireland.

There are certain exceptions where the Arts Council may deem eligible applications made by those based outside the Republic of Ireland. However, before admitting as eligible any such application, the Arts Council would need to be satisfied that the outcomes of any such proposal would benefit the arts in the Republic of Ireland.

Proposals received from organisations who are funded by the Arts Council under Annual Programming grants or Annual Funding grants must provide evidence that the project is exceptional and outside the remit of their funded activities.

Full details of the application process will be provided in the scheme guidelines.
