Through its film awards, the Arts Council supports an environment in which film artists have the freedom to make work of an experimental and/or non-narrative nature and are given opportunities to make highly creative artistically authored work for cinema exhibition.

The Arts Council’s Film team will outline funding opportunities for film artists (e.g Film Project Award, Reel Art, Authored Works and the new Agility Award etc.) at an online information clinic on Friday 16 April. The session will be part of an information event organised and hosted by aemi. Prospective applicants are invited to attend the clinic and should register by emailing info@aemi.ie.  Further details will be available on the aemi website shortly.
