Ireland at Venice: Irish Tour continues
The exhibition of Ireland’s representation at the 55th International Venice Art Biennale continues at the RHA until 12March. The response by the public has been exceptional and we are very proud to have brought the work back home to Ireland. The exhibition will open in Ormston House and 6a Rutland Street, Limerick on 27 March and will run until 5 May as part of the Limerick City of Culture programme. Richard Mosses work, The Enclave, is a major multi-media installation which was developed and produced as a result of the artist immersing himself into armed rebel groups in a war zone plagued by ambushes, massacres and systematic sexual violence in eastern Congo.
The Irish tour of Ireland at Venice 2013 is supported by the Arts Council as part of its commitment to promote the visual arts to Irish audiences.
