Theatre Artist Residency Scheme
The purpose of the Theatre Artist Residency Scheme is to offer professional theatre artists the opportunity to create a year-long programme of work in partnership with arts centres, festivals and local authorities. In each case, the specific contents of the work programme will be designed by the theatre artist in collaboration with an arts centre or festival and a local authority.
The Theatre Artist Residency Scheme is open to:
- Professional theatre artists or theatre organisation who is/are resident in the Republic of Ireland and who have the committed support of at least one local authority and partnership with one arts centre and/or festival
- Local authorities proposing to establish a professional theatre-artist residency that has the committed support of a professional theatre artist or theatre organisation and at least one arts centre and/or festival

Theatre Resource and Development Scheme
The purpose of the Theatre Resource and Development Scheme is to develop a collaborative infrastructure that promotes best practice in the development, production and dissemination of theatre artists’ work and practice across Ireland.
Applicants put together a resource and/or development programme that details the infrastructure, resources and expertise that they will make available, as well as details of how they will select the participating artists and companies, and how their resource-sharing service will benefit theatre artists in a sustainable manner.
Applications will be considered from theatre organisations and entities who can demonstrate a proven track record and a comprehensive range of available resources, including partnership with at least one Arts Council-funded theatre organisation. The aim of the proposal should be the structured support of the work and/or career path of the professional theatre artist.
