As part of its partnership with the MA in Festive Arts (University of Limerick), the Arts Council will be hosting a series of information and advice points at its Change Makers festival conference at the Irish World Academy in Limerick on the 14th February 2020.
As part of a programme centered on festival-making, delegates will have the opportunity to meet with a number of organisations providing information to support festivals to build and broaden their knowledge.
Creative Europe Desk, Aoife (The Association of Irish Festivals), The Wheel (The association of community & voluntary organisations, charities & social enterprise) will provide pop-up clinics for conference attendees. The 15-minute clinics are devised to provide one to one advice sessions and cover a number of topics ranging from funding opportunities to governance and festival management. In addition, ISACS (the Irish Street Arts, Circus and Spectacle network) will be available during the day to provide information about its membership and the services it offers along with University College Dublin Archive team who will provide more information to festivals on how they preserve and record their programmes and history.
