The Arts Council announces Round 1 of the Festival Investment Scheme 2020 for festivals that commence and take place between January-June 2020.
The purpose of the Festivals Investment Scheme (FIS) is to provide festivals with the appropriate supports to deliver quality arts experiences for audiences, to contribute to the development of artform practices, to creatively and imaginatively engage audiences, and to increase opportunities for public engagement.
Applicants whose festivals start in June 2020 but conclude in July of 2020 should apply to this round.
Those applicants who are reapplying to the scheme and considering transferring application bands should speak with their FIS assessment team before applying.
Those organisations that run monthly or quarterly programmes or ‘linked events’ are advised to speak with the festivals team before making an application to this scheme.
The closing date for applications is: Thursday 9th May 2019 at 5.30pm
Application forms will be available through online services from Tuesday 9th April 2019.
